Parrots

Our parrot babies are available as weaned, hand-fed youngsters that are pre-screened for Psitticine Beak and Feather Disease and Polyomavirus. Using DNA technology, any exposure to these diseases will show up in the testing results. We offer this as a service to our clients since avian veterinarians will advise these tests upon purchase of a young parrot. We will also have the sex determined by DNA as an additional service. Our flock contains Macaws, Cockatoos, and Eclectus that live in sunny, outdoor aviaries surrounded by tall, shady trees. Babies are collected from the parent birds at two weeks of age to finish their upbringing in our home. When they are fully weaned at three to four months of age, we run blood tests and make them available for purchase. As we have babies available, we will post them on this site.
